Krystal Wilson attended Motivate Our Minds as a student until she was in the eighth grade. Now that it is her freshman year in high school, she has several thoughts to share about why MOM matters to her and what an impact MOM has made in her life. Krystal is the current Sousa Fellow - a program named in the honor of Bill and Kathleen Sousa. This fellowship opportunity continues to support students in their education beyond Motivate Our Minds.

They have taught me what I needed to do to prepare for college. They have helped me stay on track academically, and they have always taught me to continue to believe in myself.
