This prestigious scholarship, given in honor of the late Fred Wenger, awards a deserving student with a $100 Target gift card as well as pays for the entire year of tuition to attend Motivate Our Minds. The process includes completing a scholarship application and participating in an interview with the scholarship committee.
This year, two winners have been named. Both students are excited to have received this honor and have established some goals to help them succeed this year.
Brayden Courtney
Brayden Courtney is a seventh grade student attending Northside Middle School. This year he is attending school virtually, but he still plans to come to Motivate Our Minds to receive help with his schoolwork as well as participate in Boy Scouts. When he grows up he wants to be a firefighter. Math is his favorite subject and his goal this year is to improve his math grade.
Ashia Frazier
Ashia Frazier is a fourth grader attending Longfellow elementary. She has been a student at MOM for several years. Her favorite subject in school is math. Goals that she has for this year include keeping her grades up and being respectful and responsible with a good attitude.
