Programming Adjustments

As the communities across the country and state continue to work through reopening and safety standards, we look forward to welcoming students for the Fall semester of our enrichment program beginning August 11.

The health and safety of our students, families, and staff remains our primary concern. In an effort to provide enrichment and support academic gains, while minimizing any potential exposure to CoV-2, we continue to review Center for Disease Control and Prevention Guidance for Child Care Programs.

Our after-school enrichment program will make the following adjustments:

  • Classroom sizes and enrollment will be limited.

  • Those wishing to volunteer will schedule a volunteer appointment.

  • Social distancing in accordance with CDC guidelines will be followed.

  • Masks will be required for program participants.

  • Hand sanitizer will be present throughout building spaces.

  • Classroom spaces will continue to be cleaned following the session.

  • Bathroom capacity will be limited to one student at a time.

  • Temperature checks will be taken upon building entry.

  • Program food will be served in prepackaged portions.

  • Transportation will not be provided by MOM due to an inability to provide proper social distancing and sanitization measures.

  • Students will not share supplies and materials.

  • Visitors must wear masks upon entry to the building.

  • Visitors will not be allowed beyond the building lobby unless they have registered to volunteer.

We continue to ask families to keep students home if they are experiencing fever or chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny or stuffy nose, headache, muscle aches, or other COVID-19 symptoms identified by the CDC. We remain in this together, and recognize that our obligation is to our children, our families, and our community.
