Motivate Our Minds is working hard to keep kids engaged in learning when school is out of session. We have been pleased to partner with two amazing organizations within the city of Muncie.
The Back To School Teacher Store donated supplies for us to put together at least 40 academic enrichment activity bags. These bags included books for children to read as well as a variety of art and science activity kits. Students have been enjoying these books and activities.
WIPB, the local PBS station, has partnered with Motivate Our Minds to provide STEAM and literacy activity kits. These kits include a variety of learning activities often including a book for students to read plus several hands-on activities related to the topic of the story. New kits are available to students each week.
Motivate Our Minds is taking this learning opportunity a step further. When students complete the book and activities for each bag, they can take a brief quiz online. They are then rewarded with a coupon for free ice cream.
